Haven & Hearth comes to Steam with the release of World 16. Haven & Hearth is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game) set in a fictional world loosely inspired by Slavic and Germanic myth and legend. The game sets itself apart from other games in the genre in its aim to provide players with an interactive, affectable and mutable game world, which can be permanently and fundamentally changed and affected through actions undertaken by the players. Our fundamental goal with Haven & Hearth is to create a game in which player choices have permanent and/or lasting effects and, thus, providing said players with a meaningful and fun gaming experience.
This is meant to be a genuine, non-elitist advice:
If you want a PvE world, play in the World 16 instead of 16.X or whatever is the current "parallel" world.
Practically all the "tryhard botters" should've quit it by now. You'll still want to build a proper Palisade to deter the most low-effort griefing, of course.

I have been playing this game for like 10+ years over on the main site. I reckon, despite the fact I play and love this game, I cannot recommend it. The player count is so low, it's a community of people that all roughly know each other, and they love to gatekeep their game. I played around 9 hours of Haven & Hearth, and despite my frustrations with some of its systems, I genuinely had a great time with it. The biggest issue for me as a new player was the UI. A lot of the icons are difficult to understand at first, and there are quite a few systems that feel unnecessarily convoluted. A lot of basic things, like moving items...
The controls are terrible lol
Also, a bunch of ants followed me for ages across the map to kill me. When does the fight stop? Kinda stupid.
