It was rather refreshing returning to Guild Wars 2 after an extended absence. With mountains of fresh and exiting content, Guild Wars 2 Heart of Thorns is most definitely worth it if you're a fan of the franchise. The new map is beautiful to behold, and there is friendship around every corner.
Guild Wars 2 continues set itself apart by being an MMO that stresses and encourages players to adventure and tackle challenges together.
Heart of Thorns may not be a perfect expansion, but it's definitely something I think every fan of the game should check out. Just be prepared to rove about Maguuma in a pack, you're going to need some help to get the most out of the jungle.
Even going back to the old content isn't a pain, as it still holds up under scrutiny. The new areas, though, feel more alive - you're part of a grand operation, with many smaller sub-objectives to complete in order to achieve victory.
I am largely happy with this.
