training gladiators and sending them into fights sounds like a fun mix of management and arena combat theres something satisfying about taking a weak fighter and slowly turning them into a champion as long as i can keep them alive long enough to earn their next upgrade

This is actually probably the most fun I've had playing a resource management game, probably due to the rpg elements and it not being completely tedious...at first.
