Gladiator: Blades of Fury is a melee combat action fighting game set during the medieval period. Players can play as a gladiator from four different clans, namely the Barbarians, the Assassins, the Knights, and the Dwarves. All heroes are unique and have their own weapons, skills, and fighting styles.
Positive:
- I laughed really hard at the character models.
- They tried to make a game.
Negative:
It's not worth $10.
It's unplayable and really doesn't make much sense. This is a prototype. A college project left unfinished.

I wanted to like this game, because it looked like an indy medieval fighting game. The environments are decent, I like the music, and there are enough characters to play. HOWEVER, it is currently unplayable. The character weapons are floating outside their hands, the camera has no lock-on feature, the controls are janky, and all character movements/actions...

The Souls-like combat is poorly implemented, level design is a mess and the character models clash like crazy as far as artistic cohesion goes. I feel like this is one of their few games that they tried...
Honestly this game COULD have been alright if they would have just spent a bit more time on it. BUT the cameras are terrible, your fighter float like they are in spaces, turning around is like harder than stone and a few too many glitches.
So all in all this is a NO GO!
