Fairly basic shoot em up style game where you're driving a car instead of a ship. Pretty fun, but not too challenging. I might've not bothered to review, but the dev fixed a broken achievement, so that gets a thumbs up from me. I feel like the story kind of takes a random turn towards the end which I didn't particularly care for, but whatever.
Gearshifters serves a pleasant yet standard top-down combat driving experience.
This game gives off uneven vibes. While both art styles are served well, the detailed high res static menu backgrounds do not match the more retro in-game animated visuals. Very useful moves like power slides are hampered by difficult to get good angles and some odd steering...
