The new racing game is visually pleasing and conceptually interesting, but with untuned gameplay. The idea of & 8203;& 8203;combining an arcade look with more serious simulation elements is nice, but the result feels unfinished.

"Formula Legends" is a passion project created by F1 fans to celebrate the sport's history. While its ambitious vision and the developers' commendable effort are evident, existing issues ultimately prevent it from becoming a flawless title.

While, as an F1 fan, I admire the attention to detail that went into faithfully cramming seven decades of F1 racing into an enjoyable unlicensed arcade racing game, the framerate, dynamic resolution, and color hue issues make this a port to avoid if you have the option to play on more powerful platforms. Formula Legends is clearly a game made by fans of the most prestigious category in motorsport, however, despite having good ideas and taking the player on a time-traveling journey through the history of the category, the lack of game modes and some other structural issues end up limiting what could have been an excellent racing game.
