Folklands is a grid-based, relaxing settlement builder with simulated citizens. Grow your settlement from humble beginnings to a bustling town. Harvest resources, manage food supply and make sure your folks are happy, employed and safe.
This game is cool, I feel like it does need improvements. I like at one point or another the happiest of the town started going down but the game didn't really explain how to fix that. And the fishing I feel like its broken, it gives you ability to put a harvest point where it puts a marker with fishing pole on a spot but it just keeps saying there...
Version 1.0 is out and my game crashed after building the Wheat Farm...twice...
Not recommended for now, maybe in a year or two.
A fun indie city-builder that you can pass several hours with. Check it out, especially on a sale.
Its has potential. I will recommend it.
A decent game, has some content to it. Some systems and mechanical have a rough edge to it.
Do you like city builders and want to support some developers trying to make a good game? Go for it.
If you expect a really polished experience and 100 hours of gameplay this is not for you.
I enjoy playing city builders and I am enjoying this one. It's a bit rough around the edges right now, but I'm sure that'll be taken care of. It's available in a humble bundle at the moment.
