Your a pleasant farmer that dropped a bag of needles into a haystack, now your goal is to find the needle. Incremental game where you build multiple Satisfactory style structures and create real production lines to construct the biggest hay processing and needle finding factory possible.
The demo for this game was fun and had a good balance. The full release added a bunch of new mechanics that totally ruined that balance and just makes everything too tedious. Upgrades are now locked behind completing requests first. And I find myself just chasing after request after request.
It gets to the point where I've completely forgotten about...
Not recommended in its current state
I was hoping for an incremental game where I could pick my own upgrades and figure out how I wanted to tackle the haystack. Instead, I spent most of my time following quests to unlock things I already knew I wanted.
The quests dictate when you can buy new equipment and even when you can upgrade things you already...
Bought the game as I really enjoyed the demo and really wanted to see what happens after you get past the end of the pile.
However the developer has added so much fluff to the game. for some reason you can find scrap items in the pile which you can smelt. adding another line of complexitiy.
They have also made the orders at the shed door act as locks...
finding a needle instead of finding a job
10/10
I enjoyed the demo, enough to pay the large price for this kind of game. But where the demo focused on one big task, the actually game has a great many tasks in which to complete. This feels like a hat on a hat.
I'm here to find needles in a haystack, I do NOT want to keep sifting through metal to make gears and wires and then adjust my assembly line...
