Fearwoods is a cooperative survival horror game for up to three players, set in a cursed and hostile forest environment. Players explore a dense wilderness filled with supernatural threats while searching for a way to escape. The gameplay focuses on exploration, survival mechanics, and cooperative decision-making. Players must locate GPS fragments, journal entries, environmental clues, and other objects that help them navigate through the forest and progress toward escape. Light and noise play a critical role in gameplay, as visibility can improve navigation but also increases the risk of attracting hostile entities. Throughout the game, players are pursued by a supernatural demon that reacts to movement, sound, and player behavior. Survival often requires stealth, teamwork, and resource management rather than direct combat.
