What EA has done with its relaunched soccer title is define the series going forward.
EA Sports FC 24 brings us a little closer to more realistic football. The novelties in immersion are the perfect wrapper for a gameplay that is essentially the same, but that registers more important novelties than we expected. We only regret that it continues to sin of continuity and the lack of novelties in FIFA game modes.
Despite the loss of the FIFA license, EA Sports FC 24 remains the supreme soccer game to beat.
No, really-they've actually changed things this year, and the football feels better.
It might have a new name, but EA Sports FC 24 is just about the same, frustrating but beautiful game that FIFA's been for many years.
