This is a first-person Chinese horror game, players will go to a murder building, uncover the truth of the murder, find the missing people. Players will experience an intense sense of claustrophobia and horror, carefully designed scary points, a 1990s Chinese atmosphere, and mysterious, eerie, and twisted unknown entities.
Not for me. The game feels like it has a decent skeleton underneath, but the meat is uninspiring.
Half the time you're able to figure out what the game needs from you to progress the story, the other half you're wandering the same halls and rooms at a snails pace with no idea wtf to do.
This is not spoopy, it's aggravating. Thumbs down darlings. Sorry....
DREAD FLATS
Dread Flats is a short spooky game that sets the atmosphere very well! The "entity" itself has some creepy aparitions but once you see its true demonic form and its sounds, the game turns into a funny comedy.
Not much else to say... very linear game and it does the job! No technical issues or bugs encountered. Ultrawide monitor support is...
For a first horror game, it is pretty good. It did it's job well, but I did dislike some aspects. Some checkpoints are too spaced out (I don't want to watch the cutscene again after dying) and the stealth section is dull (they will see you hide and then forget where you are). It's still does a pretty good job at setting up the atmosphere.
The free dlc...
Very much enjoyed this game. The story was actually intriguing and the suspense the game created was mad.
