Deadlink is a cyberpunk FPS with roguelite elements. You're the first operative to be recruited to the experimental Deadlink project. Pilot an autonomous combat shell, fighting your way through cramped slums, twisted labs, grimy warehouses, and sleek office buildings on a mission to thwart the schemes of the most powerful corporations in the world. Wield a deadly arsenal, upgrade your skills and tech, devastate destructible environments, and slash corporate profit margins — all at the same time.
Deadlink stands out as a “pick-up-and-play” experience, focused solely on delivering fun. The gameplay is thrilling, and the roguelite structure, while not innovative, adds variety. Its visuals, narrative, and world-building feel underwhelming, but it’s a great excuse to take a break from more complex roguelites and enjoy some satisfying action.
Deadlink is a refreshing and intoxicating roguelite fps that we cannot avoid recommending. It's fast paced, the shooting is good, the upgrade system is clever and the quantity of content is not an issue. We only wish it was more various in its map layout and enemy types, but there's a lot to love here for fps fans.
An interesting world wrapped in a set of mechanics that bring to life one of the most fun and mechanically demanding roguelikes of the year.
Deadlink proves how arena shooters can thrive with roguelike loops adding lasting replayability. Its straightforward yet satisfying moment-to-moment action makes for an energy drink of a game that's hard to put down.
A great mixture of fast-paced first-person shooter, rogue-like, and cyberpunk, Deadlink comes out of nowhere to rock your world and keep you on edge until the credits roll!
