The UI is better, there's a quest log now, you auto-loot coin, and there's now auto-save. The graphics are also better and it's automatically wide-screen. And it's easier to track where you have and have not been as undiscovered places are darkened by default. Best of all it works out-of-the-box!

I first got it on the PSone many years ago from my local grocery store for $10. 20+ years later, it is still one of my favorites that I have revisited time and time again. Very good remaster an old gem. Not without issues, but dev try to fix it. Control in WASD + cursor is most comfortable.
On Master and Hero difficulties - real challenge.
