While hindered by the frustrations of a confusing tutorial, and at times clunky controls, Parklife still manages to provide something fans of Cities: Skylines will enjoy.

Cities: Skylines - Parklife is a playful new expansion, making your city more alive with new amusement parks, nature reserves, city parks and zoos, and giving new life to your empty land with custom parks and gardens. With everything from roller coasters and campsites to flower beds, fountains and flamingos, Parklife adds new ways to play, with the introduction of a new park area tool and level-up features that increase your parks property values, along with five new maps and a ton of assets in play.

Die-hard fans of the game will jump at the chance to fine-tune and beautify their creations, but the casual city planner probably won’t find enough here to be worth the investment.
Colossal Order might be asking a little much for what some would consider a small DLC, but there's no denying that it has created something pretty special here. Focusing the DLC on zooming down to street level and getting into the nitty-gritty of placement of pretty much everything in the park was a stroke of genius, and something it will hopefully...
Parks makes every City in Cities: Skylines much more interesting and attractive to tourism, but Parklife often relies on community mods to work properly. A bit of a shame.
A solid expansion that doesn't reinvent the game but adds further depth to your dream metropolis.
