Cat Detective Albert Wilde is a comedy game, a genre-bending noirish sci-fi mystery set in a fictional version of New York in the 1930's featuring atmospheric black & white vintage visuals, and loveable anthropomorphic characters. Players must muddle their way through a murder mystery that's messier than a fresh hairball, with a captivating voice-over and at least one joke about cat nipples (they have six!).
The writing and the humor are great, but the game is basically a walking simulator visual novel. And the music is annoyingly repetitive, and the voice acting sounds like Duke Nukem, and probably AI. But the story is worth experiencing if you like light detective visual novels.

This game was such a fantastic story weaving in funny jokes, silly puns, and a Wild ride for the mystery of a life-time. I'd highly recommend this game to any aspiring detective. One point to make if you are a bit stickler for proper English grammar and spelling. There were some instances within the game where the sentences did not make sense grammatically...
I was expecting this game to be more child friendly and have some dry British humour, but it certainly surprised me. Had much fun playing it!
