Carnival Hunt is an asymmetric multiplayer horror game set inside a living, ever-shifting mechanical carnival designed by the Puppetmaster. One player becomes the Carnival Monster, while others play as puppet Bunnies struggling to survive, ascend, and escape the hunt.
It kinda saddens me that I actually feel a negative review is more fitting than a positive review, especially considering that I invested in this game back on the Crytivo page, with a 100$ edition, and truly believed this game would go on to be my favorite main game.
There are positive sides to this game, especially when looking at the art direction...
Such an incredibly disappointing horror game. It sucks because I was soooooo hyped when this first got announced all those years ago.
I think also the early access model for this game really screwed it over. Within the game, you have a sense of how many monsters are in queues vs the bunnies and it's actually wild how few monsters there are. It goes...
I LOVE this game.
It's very challenging and absolutely not new player friendly, but once you really start getting a feel for it, it can be a lot of fun. It's a slower-paced asymmetrical multiplayer game, where much of the gameplay is based around stealth and tracking. You're rewarded for good knowledge of the map and objectives and being one step ahead...
The killers just don't stand a chance in the state of the game. The bunnies have spots on the map the killer simply can not reach. It just feels like the killers are very under whelming. That and there are only like 2 killers on a time with about 300 players on.
Game totally not bunny sided. Made worse with each update(Telling this as a top 10 mmr player)
