Reception

Cannon Brawl is pure pick-up and play bliss. It quickly draws you in with its straightforward control scheme and simple objective. But with the varied tools at your disposal, the game offers a rewarding space to experiment and, most importantly, enjoy that process. Some plans worked out surprisingly well for me, and others fell destructively flat. Either...

Highly addictive and packed with personality, Cannon Brawl targets a specific niche being a merger of real-time strategy, funds balancing, and Tower Defence, and will undoubtedly be worth the investment not only for fans of those genres, but newcomers to it as well.

When the conditions are right, Cannon Brawl is an enjoyable take on artillery games that offers fast-paced strategic fun. That fun only lasts so long though, and I don't think this will be the next game for you and your friends to huddle around the TV and play for hours on-end.

Surprisingly fun, accessible, intuitive and addictive, Cannon Brawl brings polished gameplay, good visuals and enough modes to please those who already know and like real-time strategy games, and even for novices who have always been looking for a good entry into this world.

While not a deep adventure, Cannon Brawl presents a good mix of real-time strategy and artillery, both in its solo campaign and in multiplayer mode. Within what it proposes, the title is fun and offers good hours of unpretentious matches, but it also manages to be intense, with many cannons, explosions and fights within an unusual monarchic family.
