GoH is an RTS/ RTT that portrays WW2.
It offers a choice of instantly switchable top- down, third person and first person (for vehicles). SP, PvE, PvP. Dynamic campaigns are available for singleplayer and in co-op.
Campaign, Conquest and a large selection of user-made mods are very fun and well made. And with constant Updates and DLC's it stops me from leaving this game. A solid 9/10
I've been playing Gates of Hell since launch, and as a longtime Men of War and Call to Arms fan, I absolutely love this game. It has the style of gameplay that keeps me coming back to the series: micro managing tons of dudes on where to take cover, plenty of freedom in how you fight a battle, and the ability to take direct control when you want to rambo...
Genuinely the best WW2 RTS. This is so peak it redefines the word "peak." An absolute MUST play for WW2 and/or RTS fans
Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront
Basically men of war 2 as it should be...nice visuals, superb sound of tanks weapons. 3rd person, 1st person..wow. clever unlock tree. Challenging. Here and there bug but nothing serious. Worth.
Ai is dumb sometimes, sometimes heavy micromanaging but it's also beauty of it.
8/10 if you like men of war
I want to recommend this game, but I can't. It is just awful. The mechanics are solid, and the first person stuff is really fun. That is about it. Otherwise, your troops are stupid. You order them into a trench, and half of them stand up outside of it and get gunned down. You set dynamite. Half the time he gets to safety and half the time he blows himself...
