Infinity Ward's first map pack for Ghosts is a largely by-the-numbers update to its multiplayer. There's nothing here you haven't seen before, but for fans, the extra content should help to extend the replay value of an increasingly repetitive franchise.

Onslaught is by no means the definitive must own CoD DLC but it's solid and gives Ghosts some more legs. So really what more could you ask for?
This is one of Infinity Ward's most playful bouts of DLC to date. It livens up the Call of Duty: Ghosts experience with interesting dynamic new multiplayer maps. The new weapons are welcome bonuses, and Extinction continues to edge closer to a game mode on par with Zombies.
The new map is also much brighter and more open ended, allowing you to drill various alien nests at your own pace with up to four players. All of the same progression oriented gameplay is here, including the ability to choose between an assault, tank, mechanical, or healing class, to augment your party's abilities or buff your own. Although it's not...
Over-priced and unmemorable, this first piece of DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts should only be purchased by those who find themselves logging onto the game daily. Even then, you may want to hold off unless you're really itching for more content.
