Buccaneers! is a first-person pirate game for PC, Xbox One and VR devices. The game is set in the Caribbean sea after the end of the Golden Age of Piracy, and explores a fictional timeline in which piracy recovers and becomes a major threat to the balance of power in the region. The player joins one of four factions and helps them to fight for dominance on land and at sea.
shortest campaign ever, had good opportunitys for updates or adding a co-op mode, they shouldve added maybe legendary ships (like from ac4) or side quests to find them (for money and xp and most ai ships use chain shot all the time instead of round shot.. and to further add. vr is absolulety terrible if you wana play somthing like this just mod ac4...
might be the most fun pirate game ive ever played. yes the art style is a little over used but i like it and the game mechanics are amazing i wish every pirate game was like this. only complaint is lack of endgame content and maybe more ship options. also the ships while highly accurate and detailed could use a teensy bit more detail like irl those...
everything is pretty good except the fleet mechanics. wish it had more specific commands available. I love the ship models though - the line ships are absolutely beautiful and historically accurate looking.
This is an incredibe game, not much more to say, the vibes are impeccable, my only problem is how it's impossible to run into smaller ships when you get a bigger one, so it never feels like you are really powerful, i get that it would be easy, but it would be more fun do destroy a brig with a fleet of first rates, although you should keep the larger...
