Broken Sword: The Smoking Mirror - Remastered is a remastered edition of the original game. The game features the same basic story, but has additional features, including fully animated facial expressions, higher quality audio, an interactive comic book, cloud save support, context-sensitive hints, a game diary and a new user interface.
The amount of animations is impressive for an old game in a genre that heavily relies on cuts to black to get things done, but that's the only good thing I can say about this game. The story is boring B-movie slop, the characters are downright horrible and the puzzles are mostly irritating or obscure when they do not consist of simply talking to everyone...
I just love the storyline! will be purchasing the other series soon!
