The year is 1973. The sound of a lone, ethereal saxophone drifts over the Roosevelt Island promenade, while a series of accidents plague a midtown construction site. The citizens of Manhattan take no notice of these events, let alone think they are connected.
Embittered medium Lauren Blackwell and her spirit guide Joey Mallone are the only ones who believe that there is anything strange going on, and they are the only ones who can stop an enigmatic killer from striking again...
Blackwell Unbound is a moody, sassy, bittersweet ghost story. There are only two cases to tease apart, but the puzzles still scratch that adventure game itch. Great VA overall even if the Countess is a little overdramatised. Lauren and joey's dynamic perfectly encapsulates the light-hearted jabs between good friends (or lovers). The soundtrack is exquisite...
I'm so happy that we get to experience what Laurie went through because i was so curious on how her and joey were working, so it was so nice to see her and discover what happened to her and to know the details abt her. this game was so fun to play and the voice acting is so perfect omg.
OMG, this is even better than the first game. The jazz tracks on this game are insanely beautiful! And you can't help but fall in love with Lauren's voice actress.
Great story, great characters, amazing aesthetic and music... Everything is so good. I wish we come back to Lauren later in the saga. Maybe go even further back in time to learn everything...
Meh, 6/10.
Solid Adventure game. This is the installment where I knew I would finish the entire series.
