A pixel-perfect platforming adventure that fires on every hazardous industrial cylinder from start to finish. You'll struggle to put it down, as you madly hump your way up one ladder before flinging yourself to the next.
Bionic Bay is easily one of the best games I’ve played this year. It’s a fantastic platforming experience with a super unique visual style that’s constantly throwing new puzzles and ideas at you throughout the campaign.
Bionic Bay is that kind of game that comes along occasionally to remind us all why we love gaming so much.
Bionic Bay is inspired by old puzzle platformers with it's art style and level design but brings a modern touch with innovative physic mechanics and more active movement. They've essentially merged Mario-type movement with Limbo-stle level design. No point in Bionic Bay is dull but it still somehow drags on a little too long.
In the end, the only relevant log in the game is the one that recognizes its own worthlessness, a system of recording that “only values information deemed beneficial to the mission,” with no regard for emotions. Why? Because when Bionic Bay stops trying to explain the science at its center and lets its environments speak for themselves, in everything...
