Overview
Belladonna is a gothic adventure game, twisted and dark. Take the role of a corpse girl rising from the dead in an abandoned laboratory, and unravel the mysteries concerning your own death and reanimation. The game explores various themes, such as the role of villains and heroes, moral value systems and different kinds of horror. It’s a point-and-click adventure, and it will ask you to read longer texts which are inspired in style by Mary Shelley’s novel, Frankenstein or The Modern Prometheus. This game is not scary in the way in which a Hollywood horror flick is scary, but it is certainly no child’s play. The story goes into an eerie place beyond life and death, and puts you into the mind of the unliving creatures and their worldviews.

It's ok. Interesting art style. Pretty good voice acting. Only took about 45m to complete. DEFINITELY would not pay $7 for it. Picked it up on sale for under $1. I would have refunded at full price. but not for the sale price. Anything over $2-$3 is too much. Would have been nice if the voice actor had read the journal pages you collect since that is...
I very rarely give poor reviews but the story was very woke, if the storyline had more substance maybe it would have been better. Kind of a retelling of Frankenstein's bride. So it was interesting, just not much to it. The game play was very short, and it was mostly just reading journal entries. Just not much of a game.
The aesthetic is my favorite thing about this game which is otherwise very simple and quite okay
