One of the better games in the 3D Realms Anthology. Shame I didn't play it in its day and age because it's quite enjoyable. Its level design is a little dated maybe, but still pretty enjoyable overall. I'd have loved this as a kid.

Overall Rating ★★★★☆ A classic. If you're old enough to remember “Shareware” you're old enough to appreciate this game. Back to the days of DOS. This game still holds all the original charm as the first time I played it. Even the music is still great, nothing feels dated or bad. If you're looking for a retro game to try, definitely pick this one up....
Not bad retro platformer where you shoot alien scum. In style it might resemble old Duke Nukem games. You explore the map flying around using your trusty jetpack and rescue babes. Make sure to keep an eye on fuel otherwise you will not get far. Level design is good to average depending on the stage. Biggest con however is diagonal movement - it is TERRIBLE...
Alien Carnage / Halloween Harry is a game that has definitely not aged well, and I say this as someone who tends to have a lot of nostalgia for these shareware era games. Then again, since I'd never played it before, I guess the nostalgia goggles were off for this one, which made its flaws all the more noticeable. To start, it's a pretty basic 2D platformer,...
Still a really fun gamer even after all these years.
Do expect some back tracking as it's extremely easy to miss things.
