I've never played the first game, so my review is only based on my experience of this game.
There are several issues with the UI at the time of posting this review, which one would assume they should have been caught on in early access but somehow didn't. You can pin some drop down stats windows but can't move them, making it impossible to see more...
This game is total trash IMO. Compared to the original *Airborne Kingdom*, which nailed that peaceful, methodical vibe of balancing and building a floating city, this sequel just tacks on clumsy combat scenarios that make you feel like you're steering a lumbering battleship in *World of Warships*.
The weapon and combat systems are completely baffling...
I was going to recommend until about 20 hours into the game, when I got to the ice continent.
There were a few minor issues until them, but the ice continent is a nightmare, first, it's almost impossible to see the cursor.
There are flakes of snow everywhere on the screen, all white, all moving around everywhere, and your cursor is the base windows...
Amazing game. Highly recommend. My only complaint: using middle mouse to move the camera is a bit clunky.
