At the end of the day, the game is still very barebones and doesn’t offer much in terms of variety. Overall, Access Denied was disappointing to me as I expected more puzzles, a plot to serve as a backdrop to give the initiative to solve the boxes, and smoother controls.
Access Denied is a rather forgettable puzzle game that doesn't do enough with its mechanics to justify a recommendation. While there are scant moments of brilliance, there isn't much here to excite even the biggest puzzle fans.
Overall Access Denied was good experience. The game didn’t wasn’t too hard to get frustrated over and it wasn’t too easy to get annoyed about, it was just the right level of difficulty that makes you literally think outside of the box.
