The narrative surrounding Black Cat and Spider-Man is interesting and engaging, but the side stuff is recycled and disappointingly thin.
It's unreasonable to expect Marvel's Spider-Man The Heist to reinvent the wheel here, it's a DLC for a game that was remarkably popular, and many are clamouring for more. Perhaps all three acts together will be a complete package worth a purchase, but this just feels like more of the same, except rushed out to meet an audience and lacking the unerring attention to detail that made the main campaign so special. If you've platinumed the game and crave a few more hours of gameplay, The Heist does the job just fine. Just don't expect a wildly stimulating plot or any radical new additions. It's more of the same, and for some, that's okay.
